INTERIORS

Our team has extensive experience working at top-tier Interior Design firms, partnered with invaluable years working in-house on the Ownership & Operations side of the business. This has given us a well rounded understanding of how to ensure that each project is not only visually compelling—but equally functional, on budget, and strategically aligned with the underwriting from the onset of a project.

Design PROCESS and BACKGROUND:

  • Former clients include Ian Schrager & Co., Related Group, Lightstone Group, Cirque du Soleil x NFL, Bespoke F&B Concepts with James Beard award-winning chefs, Moxy Hotels, W Hotels, TAO Group, Equinox Hotels, Edition Hotels, SBE Group, TED Conference, GQ Magazine, LVMH (Moët Hennessy), Blue Flag Group, KAYAK, OpenTable, Four Seasons, St. Regis, and Ritz Carlton.

*While working for Rockwell Group, AvroKO, MKG Experiential Agency, Wilson Associates & Life House.

  • We do not believe in following trends. Timelessness in a space is the most essential priority when approaching a project. We believe a property should always have hidden, witty moments to discover each time you return — this nuance & depth is what differentiates a thoughtful environment from just a pretty-looking space.

  • We place strong emphasis on kicking off each project with a budget in hand, to save the pain of value engineering down the road. No one likes to redo work, and it saves both the Real Estate Owners and the various project consultants time (i.e. money) in the long run.

  • Admittedly, prior to working for an Operator, as a young designer, my philosophy leaned towards form over function. After working through ongoing issues with our GMs, bartenders, and housekeepers—I realize the immense impact that design has on the efficiency of an Operation. And it is crucial in order to build a successful project.

  • It’s in the high-level strategy, and it’s in the details. We strive to begin each project with a thoughtful game plan, and enjoy being involved in the final detail of every install.
